The Doors (no Jim Morrison Though...)

Today I was driving around this cute little neighborhood in Phoenix and I happened across a really cute little white house with black trim. The yard was nicely manicured and landscaped and it had 'curb appeal'. A great little house. But I couldn't help but feel that if they would just paint their front door a color besides black, they could have taken it from cute to outstanding! I wished their front door were a lime green, or yellow, or even red.

I took quite a lot of photos today of houses that I saw while I was driving around. I'll upload them soon and do another exterior paint color blog (you guys are still googling exterior paint colors like crazy and winding up here). In the mean time, here are some great inspirational photos of doors, both front doors and interior doors which are great looking. It's so easy to change the look of your whole house just by changing the trim color or the door color or both.
